This program is intended to support plans, activities, and projects that will reduce and/or prevent the nonpoint source contribution from agricultural activities, through watershed based and individual farm level agricultural assessments to identify agricultural nonpoint sources of pollution, and through the implementation of Best Management Practices (BMP’s). Funding is awarded to county soil and water conservation districts. The districts then work with farmers to plan and install BMP’s
